We often overlook those that involve South Asian characters when we talk about interracial relationships on TV. Early in the day, there weren’t numerous South Asians on television in the first place, not to mention going for a sustainable, relationship. Just within the last couple of couple of years has that been changing.

On the FOX comedy “New Girl,” Schmidt and Cecelia set quite the standard for portraying a wholesome and wonderful relationship that is interracial. Hannah Simone’s Cece Parikh, an Indian-American model, might have been introduced given that closest friend associated with the leading lady but during the last six periods, she’s resulted in an inspiring, hilarious, strong character.
